Launched in 2012, Bombay Shirt Company is the first online custom shirt brand in India. The brand was born out of founder Akshay Narvekar's desire to find the perfect shirt: one that fits and feels like it was made specifically for the wearer alone. Unable to reliably find a steady supply of shirts of this calibre, Akshay decided it was time to fill a gap in the market by launching his own brand. Bombay Shirt Company has now become synonymous with high-quality, classic shirts. They are made using the finest fabrics to help the wearer create pieces that speak to his unique personality, and fit like a glove. We caught up with the entrepreneur and design-lover behind the brand for a rapid-fire Q&A.
